Lenor Midnight Bloom

I’ve been wanting to try this one since everyone said it smells like the perfume “Alien”. Everywhere I shopped I had a look to see if I could get my hands on a bottle or two, but nope everyone had already made a dash to the shops or i’m sure it came late to Leeds!

My friend rang me this morning (thank you) and said she’d managed to pick it up in Home Bargains, as they’d restocked – be quick!!

Honest Review

It is really amazing and floral which I love! Sorry to disappoint but I wouldn’t say it smells like the perfume Alien however, I can see why people are saying this! I would recommend this product & here’s my perfect combo to use it with (Add the Zoflora with your towels, bedding & bath mats) – you’ll love it!!

Spring Awakening is still my no 1 combo! What’s yours?

WOW! These perfumes are amazing for a fraction of the costs you would pay on the high street! First of all, Sam sent me a perfume list over and straight away I looked for the ones similar to my favourites which are; Alien & Flowerbomb.

It was a really hard choice but I decided to go for the one with the same notes as Flowerbomb (no 20 if you’d like to order) & it’s exactly like it! Sam also knew it was a hard decision for me to decide which one to go with, so she kindly sent me a sample of one similar to Alien to try too – thank you. I would highly recommended as I don’t know why we all pay full price for these when there is no need!

My Review Points;

  • The perfume is in great packaging
  • Smells Amazing
  • Lasts longer than my usual perfumes
  • Smells the same as the real thing!

Why are they such good value?

I asked myself the same thing!

FM Perfumes are in the 6 Fragrance Family groups as every other leading brands throughout the world

In stores most people will tend to buy 3-8% concentrated perfume oil Eau De Toilette, due to the very high costs of buying the actual parfum or eau de parfum versions with higher concentration.

FM Parfum is at least 20% concentrated and FM Eau de parfum is least 16% perfume oil, which means that they last longer than the weaker Eau de Toilette ones!

The reason the costs are so high on the high street is because you are paying for their;

  • Celebrity Endorsements
  • Fancy Packaging
  • Expensive Advertising

Re-Cycle Old Boxes for extra Storage

I really needed some more storage for my dressing table to put my make up into but everything I was seeing wasn’t practical! I did a whole bedroom clearout and found loads of empty boxes I was keeping, which were just gathering dust so I decided to put them to good use!!!

See my Youtube video below of how I made them…

Girls Bedroom Transformation

My girls room was in need of a refresh! But after the works we had had done on both the bathroom & dining room, I couldn’t bare to pick up the paint brush again! So I set myself a little target of £100 to purchase all the stuff in order for the refresh!!

I really enjoyed doing this project & I did it with the following;

  • Bedding & Cushions & Blanket – Matalan
  • Bedside drawers – up-cycled by me
  • Prints kindly gifted by Wax Paradise (give them a follow on Instagram)
  • RoseBox – won on a raffle on instagram
  • Bedside lamp – B&M
  • Rug – Amazon
  • Silver photo frame & print – I printed myself and already had the frame in the cupboard
  • Heart – my sister gifted me this as she no longer wanted it
  • Wall stars – Amazon literally cost me hardly anything
  • Light up word box – Barg from B&M
  • Total I spent around £95

Crafty Photo Frames

When the mirror frames started coming out I absolutely loved them! Didn’t really know where I’d put them though, so I decided to experiment and make my own!

All you will need; glue gun, photo frames (I got mine in packs of two from the pound shop) & pliers you snap off the black picture frame bits at the back (you’ll know what I mean). Cost to make 1 is around – £4.00

Tada! 3
Of those in a row and they’ll look lovely on your wall!

Up Cycling – Bed side table

This was my first little up-cycling project using DC Fix a bit of Satinwood Paint (white), & B&M Handles ! DC Fix has multiple uses and I couldn’t recommend it more.

I wanted to do a mini transformation on my girls room & I set my self a target of under £100 to do so – see my instagram page for the before/after results.

Put to good use!
